Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Object Book

My desire was to create a miniature universe, some ‘stages’ where some of the most important scenes of the book could take place. I used the fragility of papercutting and the simplicity of monochrome ink washes to create this. The intention was to reveal the more serious parts of the story. The two techniques are combined, and layer by layer they reveal the details that complete the picture of every scene.
